Drinking & Driving - Mp3

🎵 Listen to full song below

Theme:

The devastating consequences of drinking and driving, and the responsibility to make the safe choice before getting behind the wheel.

Description: 2:55

“Drinking & Driving” is a direct and urgent warning about a decision that can change—or end—multiple lives in seconds. The song challenges the person who has been drinking to stop and think beyond themselves before getting behind the wheel.

Rather than simply condemning the behaviour, the lyrics give practical alternatives: stay where you are until sober, take a bus or taxi, use public transportation, or ask a sober friend or loved one to drive. There is always another option besides driving impaired.

The repeated “PLEASE!” gives the song its emotional urgency. It represents the families who have already lost someone, the people who could become victims, and the loved ones who simply want everyone to make it home safely.

The ending delivers the strongest message of all: one impaired driver is already one too many. A few responsible minutes of planning can prevent a lifetime of grief.

The central message: Drinking and driving is never worth the risk. Find another way home—because nobody should lose someone they love because of one preventable decision.
